pain triggered by jarring movements Explanation: Knowing The Red Flags for Appendicitis: Pain that worsens if you cough, walk or make other jarring movements... https://www.rghospitals.com/blog/knowing-the-red-flags-for-a... Heel tap sign, also called heel-jar or jar tenderness, is a clinical sign to identify appendicitis. It is found in patients with localized peritonitis. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heel_tap_sign I don't think there is a classical 1:1 translation, because many tests rely on "jarring tenderness", so that Erschütterungsschmerz is more like a category than a single test. In most cases, tenderness will probably be elicited by a heel drop test or by percussion of the affected area, but you can't tell from the word which test was actually used. It might as well be coughing or a rebound. |
