Medical - Medical: Pharmaceuticals / Cardiology and Medication
German term or phrase: Digitalspräparate
I believe this may be a typo (missing 'i' between 'l' and 's') and that the term should actually read: Digitalispräparate.

It is from a medical article about atrial fibrillation in athletes. This term comes under the section 'medicinal treatment'.
I've spent some time researching and believe digitalis refers to it being a cardiac glycoside coming from foxglove plants. I am struggling to work out whether the term is digitalis preparations, digitalis compounds or digitalis glycosides as they all appear to be acceptable. However, I would prefer to use the correct medical term.
Any help would be much appreciated !

cardiac glycosides
Explanation:
IMO more commonly used in English than "digitalis"

(NB: yes, definitely a typo and missing i)

thanks !
I will use cardiac glycosides and perhaps put 'digitalis preparations' in brackets as here: http://cvpharmacology.com/cardiostimulatory/digitalis.htm
