with subsequent storage of the eggs Explanation: This sounds like a description of the process for isolating and storing eggs from the pig whipworm Trichuris suis. "mit anschlielßder Aufnahme" means that after being collected (from the pig faeces) the worms are then stored in sulphuric acid to inactivate any contaminating bacteria, fungi and viruses. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 11 hrs (2013-02-22 09:07:52 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- D'oh! I meant the "eggs", not "worms".... If the H2SO4 solution is part of a quick wash stage, you could use "temporarily stored in ...." or "temporary storage in ...", but as this is usually for a longer period I'd use "store" in some form. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 11 hrs (2013-02-22 09:27:21 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Otherwise, if it's the physical action that you want to highlight, rewording and using "transfer" or "deposit" could work. e.g. "transferred to a 0.1N solution of H2SO4" Reference: http://www.faqs.org/patents/app/20120085286 Reference: http://curis.ku.dk/portal-life/files/37929102/PhD_afhandling... |

subsequently suspended in Explanation: or "suspend in XY afterwards." The phrase "taken up" can be also used, but "suspended in" is used more often. Example: mouse oocytes suspended in various concentration http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2729266/ |
