Predosed Explanation: I agree completely as well. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2014-08-24 17:48:40 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- If it is "predosed" in a container, then metered dose would make more sense. You are right given the context. Good thinking! -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 6 hrs (2014-08-24 22:12:25 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- In the sachets I would think that predosed should be used. If it is in a pump, then it would have to be a metered dose. Hope that helps. |

sachet dose Explanation: might work in this case... For patients who weigh 60 kg or more, the tablet dose is 200 mg PO q12h and the sachet dose is 250 mg PO q12h. http://books.google.de/books?id=jzMGnInbkd0C&pg=PA61&lpg=PA6... Mg2+ 118 mmol/sachet Dose http://books.google.de/books?id=Y3_2AwAAQBAJ&pg=PA64&lpg=PA6... Sodium content of a 10 ml, one sachet dose is 141 mg (6.2 mmol). This should be taken into account when... http://www.medicines.org.uk/emc/medicine/21689/SPC Granules for oral suspension 500 mg: Sachet-dose, box of 12. ... artificial vanilla powder flavoring, sodium saccharin, saccharose (2.36 g/sachet-dose). http://www.db-pharma.com/fiche-uk.cfm?id=22 -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 15 hrs (2014-08-25 07:54:06 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- So it might read "primarily divided into sachet doses" (as opposed to the bulk in the pump container bottle) or "provided in sachet doses" |
