at the time of HSCT Explanation: The prognosis following HSCT is much better if HSCT can be performed in a state of remission. Re: Why do they receive HSCT if they have remitted anyway? Because chemotherapy-induced remissions tend to be temporary (in particular with leukemia), and HSCT offers a chance of long-standing, sometimes even permanent remission. |
