Medical - Medical: Pharmaceuticals / Clinical study into Zalmoxis
German term or phrase: bei HSCT
The text is about using a pharmaceutical product (Zalmoxis) as an adjunctive therapy in HSCT. the paper compares the effects of performing DSCT with and without the additional administration of Zalmoxis. I am not sure how to translate the preposition "bei" in cases such as:

Nicht-Rückfalls-Mortalität (NRM) nach Immunrekonstitution (IR) bei Zalmoxis®-behandelten Patienten in kompletter Remission (CR) bei der Stammzelltransplantation (HSCT) (n=20)

Does this mean patients who are in complete remission at the time they have the HSCT? If so, why are they having the HSCT

Explanation:
The prognosis following HSCT is much better if HSCT can be performed in a state of remission.

Re: Why do they receive HSCT if they have remitted anyway?
Because chemotherapy-induced remissions tend to be temporary (in particular with leukemia), and HSCT offers a chance of long-standing, sometimes even permanent remission.
