German term or phrase: Aufnahme zum Querarm
"Der Fräskopf besitzt eine kraft- und formschlüssige Aufnahme zum Querarm."

Ein Satz aus der Beschreibung einer neuartigen Messmaschine (manuell, CNC sowie Fräsbearbeitung). Ich tue mich hier schwer mit der "Aufnahme zum". Mein erster Ansatz wäre:

"The milling head has a solid, form-fitting adapter for the traversing arm."

Habe ich das so richtig verstanden?

Explanation:
Die Begriffe "kraft- und formschlüssig" werden bei Linguee als "frictional and keyed" übersetzt.

Im Internet habe ich dafür auch den Ausdruck "keyed and friction-locked" gefunden.

Diese Begriffe passen mit dem Wort "Connection" besser.

"Adapter" oder "Mount" sind meiner Meinung nach passende Übersetzungen für den Begriff "Aufnahme".

Kein Problem. Was ich in Deiner Übersetzung nicht so gut finde, ist das Wort "solid" für "kraftschlüssig".
