tone hole lattice Explanation: I keep finding "tone hole lattice", which is not so much a component as a dimensional property. Just an idea to get the ball rolling, not sure at all. https://viennatalk2015.mdw.ac.at/proceedings/ViennaTalk2015_submission_11.pdf |

tone holes (or tone hole system) Explanation: Set doesn't seem right to me... It seems that tone holes are mostly referred to simply as tone holes, not as a system or grid, maybe your context allows for that. 'System' is sometimes used to refer to the 'key system,' perhaps also 'key hole system'. The link provided by 'writeaway' concerning the Becher is very helpful. tone hole array Explanation: Seems to be a term applied across wind instruments: Clarinet https://www.acoustics.asn.au/journal/2007/2007_35_1_Dickens_... Flute http://exclusivelyflutes.com.au/flute-acoustics-part-6/ |
