German term or phrase: Affektverhalten
Dies ist aus einem Arztbericht.

Psyche: Der Patient is wach und voll orientiert, im Kontakt freundlich und zugewandt. Im **Affektverhalten** ist sie gut schwingungsfaehig.

Ich weiss, das Schwingungsfaehigkeit "emotional responsiveness" ist, aber irgendwie bekomme ich hier keinen guten Satz zusammen, der im Englischen Sinn macht.

Waere fuer Vorschlaege sehr dankbar. :-)

This is how it is worded in a psychiatric or neurologic report. I have dictated literally thousands of these over the course of my career.

affect display

Explanation:
"Her affect display is in the normal range" or something to that effect. Compare with sources below:

"What is affect display? a behavior which acts as a sign of emotion which can be seen visually in the manner it is displaced, such as facial expressions, vocally expressed feelings, or gestures like mannerisms or body language.
http://psychologydictionary.org/affect-display/

"A person's affect is the expression of emotion or feelings displayed to others through facial expressions, hand gestures, voice tone, and other emotional signs such as laughter or tears. Individual affect fluctuates according to emotional state. What is considered a normal range of affect, called the broad affect, varies from culture to culture, and even within a culture."

disagree  Donald Jacobson: The correct psychiatric expression translated into acceptable UK and US psychiatric jargon is " The pt. shows a full range of affect." Anything else will sound foreign to a clinician and will sound like a translation from an outsider.
