German term or phrase: ein hochaufgelöstes Design
This is the obligatory paragraph at the end of a small study in which they say that more research (and therefore more funding...) is needed.

"Dabei scheint ein hochaufgelöstes Design mit sitzungsbasierten Messzeitpunkten bei größeren Stichproben angebracht."

I'm not sure that "high-resolution design" is something we would say in English (only one google hit, but google doesn't know everything!), so my draft is "a highly refined design." But that sounds a bit like an aristocratic tea service.

Any better ideas?
