Another term from the DIY company’s list of imported tools.
It’s a very simple hand tool to drill a small hole for a nail or screw – but what on earth is the English word for it? ‘Nail bit/drill’ definitely do not fit. ‘Nail starter’? Or is it the same as a ‘scratch awl’? Maybe one of you tool experts out there has an idea...
