English translation: bench stock

Marketing - Retail / Goods storage
German term or phrase: Handlager
Verbringen auf Fläche & Handlager

I have seen the other Kudos translation (area for small parts storage) but that doesn't seem to be the term I am looking for. I have found the following definition of the term in German, and it's the second meaning that I need the English term for.
Handlager
ist ein kleines Lager, in dem häufig benötigtes Kleinmaterial (beispielsweise beim Handwerk) oder kleinere Ersatzteile (für Reparaturen) bereit gehalten werden.
Im Einzelhandel wird die zugriffsbereite Ware für den Nachschub in unmittelbarer Verkaufsnähe ebenfalls als Handlager bezeichnet.

"Storage shelves" doesn't seem precise enough. I just wondered if anyone knows the correct term? I'd be grateful for any input.

Thanks in advance.

Not too sure, but I think this can apply in both cases

Many thanks for your input, Francis. I decided in the end to use 'stockroom shelves' based on my own experience as a student shop assistant plus the images that came up in Google. However, I think your suggestion is good - just perhaps not quite right for my context which was a clothing store (and which I should have mentioned in my question, I realise now).
