In Swiss job reference for salesman (company makes soft drinks). Betreuung und Beratung von bestehenden Kunden (Depositäre und Gastronomiebetriebe). Is this the same as a Depotinhaber (authorised reseller)? Dealerships? Or just retailers?

-> Thank you, Austrian lassie. "Depositär" is also used in German, but in a completely different sense. According to Duden: Verwahrer von Wertgegenständen, -papieren. In the sense of "wholesaler", the term seems to be indeed typical for Switzerland.
