I am whacked and desparately looking for help with this tricky term, help much appreciated:
"Die vorhandene Beleuchtung im Obst- und Gemüsebereich wird durch Downlights ersetzt.
Die ausgebauten Flatlights werden als Ersatz für das Querlichtband im Packtischbereich verwendet."

linear lighting fixture(s)
Explanation:
Since you asked ;-).

The 'qeur' part is probably unimportant in English.

A 'linear lighting fixture' is any sort of lighting fixture in the form of a relatively long rectangle (usually fluorescent fixtures), as often used in office and industrial environments. If such a fixture is relatively narrow, it can also be called a striplight. However, IMO striplights would not likely be used in a packing area because they would not provide enough light and they are normally used for decorative or incidental lighting.

Although 'Lichtband' can mean a skylight, this is probably not the case here because the text says that the flatlights were used to replace the Querlichtband. Replacing a skylight with something else is possible, but it requires major strucural modifications, and in any case there would almost certainly be artificial lighting in addition to a skylight (and a skylight implies an open hall or the like).

neutral  Ken Cox: from the only ghit I see for the term, it could also be a transverse strip skylight, but that's guessing (http://tinyurl.com/4sfzud, bottom left figure)

light bar/horizontal light bar

Explanation:
Here is a link with a picture of a packing table. As you can see, the light is positioned above the table, horizontally. I would either just call it a light bar, or go with horizontal light bar.
A picture is usually worth a thousand words.

In case the link doesn't work, just google "Packtisch und Beleuchtung" and you'll find plenty of pictures.
