warehouse cart /wire roll cart(cage)/roll container(cage) Explanation: I never heard this German term before and it doesn't seem to fit in your context. "Schütte" means "scuttle" and is usually used for coal etc. Definition von "Schütte" according to Duden: "Behälter, worin man loses Material (z. B. Kohlen o. Ä.) tragen u. dessen Inhalt man durch eine oben frei gelassene Öffnung ausschütten kann" From your description, I guess that you are looking for something similar to this: http://www.shoppingtrolleys.net.au/shopping-trolleys-detail.... http://images.google.de/imgres?imgurl=http://img.alibaba.com... http://images.google.de/imgres?imgurl=http://www.e-soon.com.... |

cage trolley Explanation: When I worked in a central London bookstore chain, we used to call them "cage trolleys". These were used in the Goods In department for transporting the large number of boxes of books from the loading bay down to the goods in basement. Don't think it's necessary to define the cardboard box bit! In my experience, "order picking trolleys" were smaller and more likely to be wheeled around the shopfloor for shelf-stacking and often used as ad-hoc shelfspace!! |
