@David:
Pretty sure that both are one and the same thing. Though I find it strange that there is not a single reference to these Flemish wooden crates on the Internet except for the website you appear to be working on.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks. Comment @Bernhard Sulzer: In that case, are the "flämische Holzkisten" and the "mit Plastikfolie ausgeschlagene hölzerne Ladungsträger" one and the same thing? I have been contemplating this. From the way it is written, I initially thought the system must have to handle "special Flemish wooden crates" and "wooden cases lined with plastic film", but I suspect the latter is just a description of the former, would that seem right to you?

Asker: Indeed. And it would seem strange to use traditional wooden crates as well as Octabins & pallets in a high-bay warehouse, unless the Flemings were way ahead of their time... So, would you agree with "the conveyor system also needs to be able to handle Octabins and special Flemish wooden crates, wooden cases lined with plastic film" or simply "Octabins and special Flemish wooden crates/cases lined with plastic film"?

agree  Bernhard Sulzer: the grammar in the original sentence is off or the sentence continues somewhat different than I would expect.:)
