In diesem Arbeitsgang zerlegt der Handschuhmacher das Fell in Stücke (Bande) und fertigt aus diesen Stücken Handschuhe und Daumen mit entsprechenden Größenmaßen. Dabei wird noch immer in französischen Zoll gemessen.
