Hi guys,

Anyone know what a "Remise" is in this context? Here is the sentence:

The text describes a hotel and its facilities.

Thanks,

carriage house/shed

Explanation:
I assume in a touristic text, carriage house would be most appropriate. Hereabouts, it's just a tool shed or outbuilding.

agree  Michael Martin, MA: Carriage house or coach house seems to work best//Outbuilding maybe. Who would use the shed other than employees? Didn't realize they still had cigarette machines in hotels..

"outbuilding" though "coach house" seems most probable for your hotel context.
