Buchungen erfolgen online in dem vom Beherberger selbst gewarteten Kontingent.

Kontingent is normally a quota or allocation but *** in dem Kontingent *** sounds rather strange to my ears. Could do with some help from a native German speaker.

Kontingent
allocation

Explanation:
This is about allocations. Some of the rooms of a hotel may be allocated to, say, an online booking platform or other third parties, and some of the rooms are allocated to be sold by the hotel itself. Your sentence basically states that rooms are booked via the hotel itself (ie. rooms from the hotel's allocation), not through a third party.

"Allocation is the number of rooms a hotel has available for sales. This term is often used in reference to Allotment (Allocation or Allotment contract)"
