Er stellt sich um auf Fremndeverkehr und will in einem Jahr die ersten Gaeste begruessen.

In my context I would use Bed & Breakfast - What would the Americans use?

Why are you using B&B for Fremdenverkehr? Doesn't it mean 'tourist traffic'?
