Marketing - Wine / Oenology / Viticulture / Advertising for a tourism organisation
German term or phrase: Weinkultur
I'm looking for one or more terms which I can use in a translation for a website. The company does marketing for the German region Franconia in connection with wine (I'd rather not name it here ) and I'm doing the headings/short texts for the various "Bereiche". One of them is about "Veranstaltungen - Weinfeste und weinkulturelle Veranstaltungen - Musik, Kunst und Weinkultur" and another about "Weinkompetenz - Unsere Gästeführer stellen Ihnen die fränkische Weinkultur vor".
I could perhaps get out of the first of these "cultures" by saying "Wine festivals and cultural wine-based events – Unforgettable compositions blending music, art and cultured wine-drinking" but the last, "fränklische Weinkultur", has me stumped!
I would welcome your opinions as to whether there is such a thing as "wine culture"?

Thank you Stephen and supporters. You have convinced me that it is right to avoid going with the current inflationary use of the world "culture".

wine heritage

Explanation:

Asker: Thank you, Cillie! I'm sure one can use the term, but somehow I'm not happy about doing so too much (your text overdoes it in my opinion...)

wine customs

Explanation:
Just to put in one more option to choose from.

Example sentence(s):
  • Wine is no less essential for these white occasions than it is at other times, and funerals in the different regions have their wine customs.
  • Italian wine customs and etiquette

steeped in wine

Explanation:
"Wine culture" comes in handy but gets old quickly in English. Here are a few ways to mix it up a bit:

Events - Wine festivals and events steeped in music, the arts and wine

The (last) word on wine(s) - Our tour guides will introduce you to the Franconian tradition of wine making/ introduce you to Franconian wine culture
