German term or phrase: kolbig
Bonjour,
dans l'article d'anthropologie que je traduis (1907), les indiens guarani sont physiquement décrits. Il s'agit ici de la forme particulière des doigts chez les hommes:
"An den Händen fällt bei den Männern *die kolbige Form* der Finger auf."

J'ai du mal à me représenter cette forme, épi? piston?

C'est "l'hypocratisme des doigts". Les bouts des doigts sont bombés comme des baguettes de tambour. Hypertrophie des doigts et des ongles.
