Les toits plats sans pente sont soumis à des contraintes considérables, car
l’eau de pluie accumulée tarde inévitablement à s’écouler, ce qui porte grandement préjudice à la durée de vie de la feuille d’étanchéité.
Conséquences:
Aux endroits où l’eau de pluie s’accumule, la feuille d’étanchéité est
soumise à des contraintes thermiques variables.
Les plus petits défauts d’étanchéité sont la cause de graves infiltrations
d’eau dans les couches de la toiture.
Pendant le séchage des flaques, la concentration d’acide de soufre, moins
volatile, provenant des pluies acides, augmente constamment et attaque
