Ho serie difficoltà a comprendere la funzione e di conseguenza la traduzione del primo werden. E poi mi chiedo anche il perchè del secondo werden? un errore?!?

Untersuchungen (Safety Investigation) werden bei Vorfällen mit (potentiell) grossem Schadensausmass und erhöhter Wahrscheinlichkeit für eine Wiederholung werden untersucht.

Sicuramente la funzione di "werden" in questo contesto è quella di ausiliare in una costruzione passiva: le inchieste relative a casi che presentano tali caratteristiche vengono studiate. Detta così non ha molto senso e suppongo che l'idea mi sarebbe più chiara se avessi maggiore contesto. Immagino che voglia dire che le indagini relative a casi particolarmente sensibili vengono sottoposte a una seconda analisi e non semplicemente chiuse una volta risolto il caso.

Uno dei due "werden" è sicuramente un errore.
