Cava d'argilla Explanation: Al link di sotto indicato (riferito però a un toponimo austriaco - ma altoatesino e austriaco sono "cugini") si legge un'interessante nota sul nome: Namensherkunft Der Name Laimgrube ist auf die Lehmgruben, die hier am Abhang des Wientals bereits seit dem 14. Jahrhundert existierten, zurückzuführen. Im Bajuwarischen wurden diese Gruben Lamgrueben genannt (Lam mit langem a gesprochen). E "Lehmgrube" è una "cava d'argilla".
