Ciao a tutti!
Ho un problema di interpretazione con una parte della frase che sto traducendo, quella che ho messo nel titolo. Si parla di una donna sola, amante della poesia, che trascorre le sue giornate a sognare ad occhi aperti e a fantasticare sul suo cavaliere.
Posto la frase per intero:

Als sich aber in ihren Tagträumen ein charmanter Römer über sie hermachte, hatte sie das so mitgenommen, dass sie sich Buße auferlegte und tagelang die Kuchenschränke, Truhen und Kommoden ausräumte, neu ordnete und putzte.
