Sie schlief schlecht in diesen Tagen und träumte absurdes Zeug, an das sie sich am nächsten Morge nicht erinnern konnte. Einmal blieb immerhin ein surreales Bild in ihrem Gedächtnis haften: Alle vier Geschwister fielen über die kleinste Schwester her, die wie eine **verlorene Lumpenpuppe** auf dem Kiesweg lag.

letteralmente Lumpenpuppe dovrebbe essere "bambola di stracci". Non riesco bene a spiegarmi verloren.

La mia proposta: ...che giaceva come un pupazzo stracciato sul ciottolato. (per riprendere il discorso degli stracci e insieme il verbo, magari unendo le 2 cose).
