Was ist für Sie anders, wenn Sie auf Deutsch statt Englisch singen?
Es ist viel direkter. Ich habe die beiden Vorab-Singles ‹Seele› und ‹Immer noch› in den letzten anderthalb Jahren vielleicht an über 150 Konzerten gespielt, dies ohne zu wissen, ob sie je auf einem Album erscheinen würden. Fast an jedem Konzert kam es zu emotionalen Ausbrüchen, Tränen liefen, und oft gab es Standing Ovations für zwei Songs, die das Publikum eigentlich noch gar nie kannte. Das ist mir total eingefahren.
Warum?
Anders, als wenn ich auf Englisch singe, verstehen die Leute Deutsch gesungene Lieder sofort. An dieses ****‹Füdlibluttsein›*** musste ich mich zuerst gewöhnen.
