agree  Zea_Mays: il fossato (segno dell'inconciliabilità dei due mondi).Non credo però che il lavoro a maglia sia mai stato visto come passatempo, men che meno dalla storiografia, anzi - era un'attività assolutamente necessaria. Il "passatempo" è un'invenzione borghese.
