German term or phrase: Überstimmung Historische Risikoforschung Die frühe Risikoforschung nahm in den 1960er-Jahren in den USA mit dem Aufkommen erster „Umweltskandale“ zum Beispiel in der Nutzung der Kernenergie oder des Unkrautvernichtungsmittels DDT ihren Anfang. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit von Naturkatastrophen wurde von den Menschen im Vergleich zur statistischen Auftretenshäufigkeit zum Teil massiv unterschätzt. Man nannte dies „unrealistischer Optimismus“. Es stellte sich also die Frage, wie die geringe Überstimmung der Risikobewertung durch Laien und durch wissenschaftliche Experten zustande kommt si tratta di una relazione sugli incidenti stradali in europa, e in questo contesto mi riesce molto difficile comprendere il senso di questa parola.
