Gemeinsame Prüfung aller lohnabhängiger Abgaben
Im Rahmen der GPLA kommt nur mehr ein Prüforgan, um alle lohnabhängigen Abgaben zu prüfen (bei größeren Dienstgebern und somit umfangreicheren Prüfungen können es auch zwei Prüfer sein). Im Rahmen eines Prüfvorgangs werden alle Sozialversicherungsbeiträge und Umlagen, die Lohnsteuer, die Kommunalsteuer, der Dienstgeberbeitrag zum Familienlastenausgleichsfonds und der Zuschlag zum Dienstgeberbeitrag geprüft. Jede Prüfung ist somit gleichzeitig eine Sozialversicherungsprüfung, Lohnsteuerprüfung und Kommunalsteuerprüfung.
