In einem spannenden Grand Prix von Brasilien hat das BMW Sauber F1 Team einen positiven Jahresabschluss erlebt. Robert Kubica belegte auf dem "Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace" von Sao Paulo Platz fünf, Nick Heidfeld wurde Sechster.

Bereits der Start des 17. und letzten Rennens der Formel-1-Saison 2007 hatte es in sich:

Bei heißen 36 Grad Luft und 64 Grad Streckentemperatur tauschten die beiden BMW Sauber F1 Team Piloten nach wenigen Metern die Plätze. Als sich Sekunden später auch noch WM-Anwärter Lewis Hamilton im Duell mit seinem McLaren-Teamkollegen Fernando Alonso verbremste, lag Robert auf Rang fünf, Nick war Sechster – und fuhr unmittelbar vor Hamilton.
