Man muss auf seine Einnahmen Umsatzsteuer berechnen und abführen, darf gezahlte Vorsteuer aber abziehen. Die Differenz ist dann die Umsatzsteuerzahllast oder Erstattung. Achtung: Nicht jeder Unternehmer ist vorsteuerabzugsberechtigt. Wenn jemand steuerfreie Umsätze hat (z. B.
