Знаю rösti в швейцарской кухне,хотя принятый перевод "жареный картофель" совершенно не адекватен.
Это скорее картофельные дранники имхо.

Картофельные драники с пряными травами


Explanation:
Pellkartoffeln abziehen und grob raspeln. Zwiebel abziehen und fein
würfeln. Petersilie hacken. Alles mit Salz und Pfeffer verrühren.
Aus der Masse 12 kleine Rösti im heißen Öl braten. Während des Bratens fest zusammendrücken.

Привет, дорогая Алла; это точно и то есть. Я как раз недавно переводила меню: это и по-венгерски "rösti" т.е. дранники, вот только не знала, что по -русски пишется с "а" или "я"
