Hola,
no encuentro la palabra como tal en ningún diccionario, en el subtitulo original tengo "Yo también colecciono discos" pero me han dicho que sería algo parecido al actual DJ.
El contexto es el siguiente:
Na. Spass muss sein. (Una bromita.)
Überspiel ich mir mal. (La grabaré.)
Spitzensong. (Canción estupenda)


Bin nämlich selbst Schallplattenunterhalter.
Sieht man mir gar nich' an, was? (No tengo esa pinta, verdad?)
Manchmal lege ich im Kreis der Genossen auf – da geht es heiß zu. Richtig
verboten.

Explanation:
In der DDR, gab den “staatlich geprüften Schallplattenunterhalter”(abgekürzt SPU).
Zur Vermeidung des westlich geprägten Begriffes DJ, wurden wir deshalb
“Schallplattenunterhalter” genannt.
