Der Begriff taucht in einem Text über Maschinen zur Glaserzeugung wiederholt auf: Einstand, Glaseinstand, Rahmeneinstand.

"Die Scheibe mit einem Maßband vermessen und den gemessenen Wert notieren. Im Singlemode die Scheibe starten und den Längenmesswert (Wert wird im Betriebsmode angezeigt) mit der händisch gemessenen Länge vergleichen. Wenn beide Längen übereinstimmen die Scheibe applizieren. Nun den Einstand nur links und rechts von der Scheibe messen.
Ist der Einstand links und rechts statt 5mm nur 3mm muss der Drehpunkt um 2 mm mechanisch nach innen verschoben werden (17mm Gabelschlüssel)."
Als Erklärung von "Einstand" erhielt ich vom Auftraggeber: "=Abstand zwischen Glaskante und Rahmen". Kennt jemand die spanische Entsprechung für "Einstand/Glaseinstand"? DANKE.

agree  Toni Castano: Tienes mi respaldo, aunque admito que "franquicia" es un término nuevo para mí. Yo diría simplemente "profundidad del marco", es decir, del marco donde se aloja el vidrio/la hoja. "Inserción del vidrio" es demasiado ambiguo.

  -> También pensé en darle la vuelta a "Glaseinstand" y hacer referencia al marco, pero como el texto no trataba de instalación de ventanas, sino de la fabricación del vidrio, busqué la palabra que se refería al cristal. Gracias por el comentario.
