Explanation:
Cuando estuve en la universidad en Múnich, el "Geschäftszimmer" fue el despacho de atención a los estudiantes (cada mañana de 10 a 12). El equivalente español (en Salamanca/España) se llamaba "secretaría", con horario de 10 a 2.
"Amtsstube" suena muy anticuado para mí. Un "Sekretariat" no hay que tener necesariamente un servicio de atención al público. Un "Geschäftszimmer" sí.

Espero que estas ideas te sirvan de algún modo.
