agree  Erzsébet Czopyk: Yes, sadly from my own experience. Doctors put the CA on the paper that the patient could not read it. All f them avoid the words canecer or carcinoma or, in my case, I just noticed the "Meth" which was a met(h)astasis

  -> I am so sad to read your statement. On a close friend's medical report I read once in Spanish "formación neoplásica" and she even thought that sounded nice. But she is still well alive and kicking after five years. May that happen to you too, I pray.

Por supuesto, como bien explica wiki es, el carcinoma es un tipo concreto de cáncer...
