Was für eine Obstsorte ist das genau? Scheint eher in Dosen zu verkehren als auf Bäumen! Google ist nicht sehr gesprächig (irgendwo werden Zwergorangen erwähnt) und der Gr. Brockhaus kennt sie auch nicht. Mir würde schon die lateinische Bezeichnung weiter helfen...

If you test google with this, you will get some 17,000 sites - it's just the way it was spelled.

It is a small variety of easily-peeled orange; it is similar to the clementine, but usually rather sweeter, and has very few pips.

Mandarin segments are a favourite ingredient of rice-based side-salads which require a touch of fruit.
