  -> for the simple reason that ´active´is the most important feature of this word, δραστήριος means active and δραστηριότητα - activity (ενέργεια ) (and not engagement) but being a native speaker you´ll be fully conversant with all this.

neutral  Georgina Samiou: this is all preferential. The truth is "actively engaged" is a good word-for-word translation of "δραστηριοποιείται ενεργά".However, "ενεργά" is not used in the original; why should "actively" be used in the translation?
