living on own means Explanation: I think this is the usual meaning - i.e. not a job, but having private sources of income (from interest on accounts, from rents etc) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 7 mins (2011-01-21 21:15:08 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Even if everything else in the list is stated as a noun e.g. manager, director, part-time employee etc, this is always listed simply as "living on own means" (never as "person living on his/her own means" etc) |
