Off the top of my head I would think "face onto it" would be fairly unambiguous, but colleagues may be able to provide a better solution.

disagree  transphy: 'Front on to....'. in my opinion, is more correct, as 'face on to' can mean 'faces towards' but NOT NECESSARILY 'FRONT' the subject. '

South Africa House ' faces onto' Trafalgar Sq. BUT DOES NOT HAVE A FRONT ONTO IT, as the two are divided by the wide Road between them.
