This is from an expert report (valuation of land) dating from 1932.

Even if πλίνθος and τούβλο are usually treated as synonyms, is there a distinction that can be made between them? Is one a baked brick and the other 'raw'? If so, which is which? There seems to be rather contradictory information on this.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks for the corroboration, and I'm sure this is the distinction made in this document. I've now found πλιθάρι in an old building dictionary (Tzartzanou). It says 'άψητο τούβλο'. The only confusing thing is that the same dictionary gives the following for τούβλο: ‘(Οπτόπλινθος) | ωμή πλίνθος’. How can it mean 'ωμή πλίνθος' at the same time? This is puzzling, but it isn't going to affect my translation.
