Greek term or phrase: αραιά πυρακτωμένα σύννεφα
good morning everyone,
i am transcribing and translating a video clip from a documentary about volcanoes and i am struggling with the use of the word αραιά in this context. i think it translates as 'low-density' so the sentence would be 'low-density red-hot clouds' - can anyone confirm if this is right or not?
many thanks!

English translation:sparse, low-density
Explanation:
It could be low-density as you say, or it could be sparse. It depends on the context. But yes, αραιός could very well be translated as "low-density".
