-------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2007-08-30 07:42:13 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- ακόμα καλύτερα η απόδοση του Dylan με το non-specialized |

broad-based channels Explanation: Just an idea. http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&as_qdr=all&q= "broad-ba... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2007-08-30 07:40:23 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I don't know if there's a single, well-established term for this in English. Other possibilities: catch-all channels non-specialist / non-specialised channels -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2007-08-30 09:31:24 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- It reminds me of political parties that are called "broad church". non-specialist/non-specialised is perhaps the best term to use in a formal context, though "broad-based" is quite widely used too. Bear in mind that there's a strong tendency to use "non-specialist" as the adjective in English, and I think "non-specialist channels" gives quite a lot more Google hits than "non-specialised channels". |
