remakes (adaptations, adapted programmes)
Explanation:
You can say "local remake" or "localised remake", but where the context is clear, the word "remake" on its own may be enough:

Certain filmmakers see plagiarism in Bollywood as an integral part of globalisation where American and western cultures are firmly embedding themselves into Indian culture, which is manifested, amongst other mediums, in Bollywood films.[99] Vikram Bhatt, director of films such as Raaz, a remake of What Lies Beneath, and Kasoor, a remake of Jagged Edge, has spoken about the strong influence of American culture and desire to produce box office hits based along the same lines in Bollywood, "Financially, I would be more secure knowing that a particular piece of work has already done well at the box office. Copying is endemic everywhere in India. Our TV shows are adaptations of American programmes. We want their films, their cars, their planes, their diet cokes and also their attitude. The American way of life is creeping into our culture."[99]

"Ugly Betty" is often called a "remake":

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&rlz=1B3GGGL_enGR...

Αναφέρεται στο άρθρο των δύο ‘Global Media: Generic Homogeneity and Discursive Diversity’, το οποίο βρίσκεται εδώ:
http://www.cardiff.ac.uk/encap/projects/globalcomm/publicati...

This has led to the notion of ‘glocalization’ and the idea that we live in a ‘cultural melange’ where there is a complex flow of cultural influences and transformations around the planet. While the idea of glocalization has been broadly popular there has been concern about the lack of detailed systematic empirical evidence for such conclusions (Wang & Servaes, 2000).
[…]
Much less attention has been given to these obvious, but possibly more sinister, ways that the local becomes an adornment or decoration which is embedded in a basic architecture of the global. In the process the local is transformed, but not to the extent that it ceases to be recognizable as local. The term glocalization was used to capture this process of merging. However, in our view it only suggests a kind of push–pull of the local and the global—any transformation, in this model, is done by the audiences.

Reference information:
As you will have realised from the answers given, προγράμματα here means τηλεοπτικές εκπομπές. I also note that γενετική ομοιογένεια is a mistranslation of "generic [not genetic!] homogeneity". If you can get hold of the following article you might find some clarification of the sourec text:

I didn't notice that Nikos had already cited the article and provided a link, so this note is redundant!
