Hmm…Ritsos in this line is referring to the real man, the Man with a capital letter, who would be born from and in a real socialistic society.
You see, Ritsos although was one of the best Greek poets (I love him), at the same time had two handicaps: was incurably optimist about man, under any system and bad as a prophet…:)
