Greek term or phrase: Ο Κουκής και ο Ρεβύθης

I am working on a text which lists actions for raising awareness for the protection of the environment with little children. The action concerning the protection of flora has been named Ο Κουκής και ο Ρεβύθης (Broad bean and Chickpea), which is the name of a Greek traditional fairy tale, with which I'm afraid I'm not familiar.

What would you recommend I do? Translate the two plants from English into Greek or choose the title of a fairy tale in English, which might not tell the same story, but it would contain the names of (any) common plants? Are there any such fairy tales in English? Thank you!

Κι εγώ πρώτη φορά το ακούω το ελληνικό παραμύθι. Από αγγλικά, γνωστό παραμύθι είναι το "The Carrot Seed". Πρόκειται για έναν σπόρο που χάρη στη φροντίδα του παιδιού που τον φύτεψε, έγινε καρότο παρόλο που όλοι του έλεγαν ότι δεν επρόκειτο ποτέ να φυτρώσει. Κι αυτή η ιδέα -η φροντίδα / προστασία της φύσης- σχετίζεται νομίζω με το κείμενό σου.

Ο τίτλος βέβαια είναι the carrot seed και όχι the carrot σκέτο, αλλά θα μπορούσες να πεις π.χ. the carrot, which grew from the seed,...
ή The carrot seed became a carrot and took his friends to the land of seeds, his homeland, ή κάτι τέτοιο μια που το κείμενό σου λέει land of seeds.
Ή απομακρυνόμαστε πολύ από το αρχικό;

Asker: Σαν παραμύθι δεν το χω ακούσει. Το χω ακούσει μόνο σε στιχάκι, από κείνα που λέγανε οι παραμυθάδες για εισαγωγή "Θα σου πω ενα παραμύθι, το Κουκί και το Ρεβύθι". Μπορεί να μην είναι καν παραμύθι, τώρα που το καλοσκέφτομαι. Σε ευχαριστώ πολύ, είναι πολύ γλυκιά αυτή η ιστορία για το καρότο :)
