Greek term or phrase: Δουλειές του Ποδαριού
How does one say this in English? 'odd jobs'? 'menial jobs'? I can't think of a satisfactory equivalent.

agree  Nick Lingris: I understand the asker's problem, but alternatives (e.g. jobs that do not require a permanent place of business) would be inelegant. And it does not mean "running errands for money".

patchwork

Explanation:
It depends on what you mean δουλειές του ποδαριού. It can be either 'odd job' referring to any odd job, or it can be 'patchwork' referring to a work done sloppily.

disagree  ntaras: The point is that a work done sloppily would be δουλειά, not δουλειές. Moreover, του ποδαριού does not mean this; sloppy work is στο γόνατο
