Το πρόβλημα δεν είναι η Ακρόπολη. Αναφερόμουν στον τρόπο χρήσης του μη αριθμήσιμου (uncountable) ουσιαστικού heritage. Δεν μπορούμε να πούμε "The Acropolis is a valuable Greek Heritage". Μπορούμε να πούμε "The Acropolis is a valuable part of the Greek heritage".

When I gave 'Acropolis' as an example of 'a Natinonal Heritage', I meant it to exemplify a strong case for a country's heritage. 'Heritage' is used as a 'plurality', a collection of 'remnants', encompassing a myriad of very different items, material or abstract, left by the peoples of yester day to the peoples of to-day, which items give those peoples their unique identity.
