plant OR produce Explanation: Why not opt for a more generic term, given that the man himself does not seem to know what exactly he was grinding. Certainly, it was not grain or corn for he was not able to get any flour from it. Am I right in assuming that this man was in desperate need of food and tried to get some flour from any plant he could get hold of? |

grain, corn, cereal Explanation: Only things that come to mind אוסם = תבואה I think. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2010-04-02 12:53:50 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Well, in that case the man used the wrong word. Osem has no other meaning except as the name of a company producing foood (An Israeli food corporation called Osem), which is not what we are lookding for here. Or a typo of some kind? |
